About

Elisa Lejuez is a celebrated Caribbean artist whose bold, dynamic work blurs the lines between fine art and design. Born on April 15, 1973, and based in Aruba since 1999, she is recognized for her vibrant Neo-Pop aesthetic — an expressive fusion of vivid color, layered symbolism, mixed-media textures, and silkscreen techniques.

Holding a Master of Fine Arts from ArtEZ in Arnhem, The Netherlands (1995), Elisa combines technical mastery with fearless experimentation. Her creative reach extends well beyond painting, encompassing textile and fashion design, bookmaking, and immersive large-scale installations.

Across every discipline, her work pulses with energy, cultural resonance, and a distinct sense of identity. Her canvases speak a language that is both contemporary and deeply rooted, weaving color, memory, and material into visual narratives that are unmistakably her own.
