Since 2016 the Aruba Art Fair has filled San Nicolas for one weekend in September. Buildings that stand empty all year open as galleries, the streets between them fill with performances, food and music, and the muralists of the Aruba Mural Festival finish their walls while you watch. It is the night the island comes to San Nicolas.
2027 is the tenth edition, Aruba Art Fair X, under the theme Art · Culture · Movement: more than 100 artists from Aruba, the Caribbean, Latin America, the Netherlands and beyond, plus the work of the youth programmes and the makers of Space21. Everything you see is for sale, and the work can be bought right here on artweekaruba.com during and after the fair.
